How buying nicer clothes saved me money.

How buying nicer clothes saved me money.

I've always been very "careful with money" (if you get the Seinfeld reference, you feel me). For years I thought I could save money shopping at places like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. I never stopped to wonder why it was so affordable? FYI it's cheap labor, cheap fabrics, and the fastest use of natural resources, but that's another post. Big surprise those items are long gone from my wardrobe. Sweaters became scratchy or began to pill, clothes disintegrated in the wash, and that little black dress lost shape going from fabulous to frumpy in a minute. In my twenties I always wondered why I was broke (ok fine it was all the happy hours) but truly I spent more money replacing clothes than if I had just bought high quality items to begin with. I cringe to think of all the quality bags, wool coats and genuine leather boots I could own by now if I had just spent my money better a decade ago! But alas, the beauty of getting older is you get a little wiser and this wise lady is telling you these sweaters are a must-have for your closet. Women owned, made in the USA, and built to last. They are made with eco-friendly branded fibers using a sustainable process called Edelweiss Fiber Technology (nerd out on that!) and girl, they are SO SOFT.
